A parent at a kitchen island, laptop open, calmly planning summer camps

You’re not the only one who finds this hard.

We asked 40 Toronto parents to describe how they manage summer camp planning. These are real answers.

“My email inbox. Which is a dump.”

— east-end Toronto parent of 3

“Organized moms reach out and remind me. It’s a terrible system.”

— east-end Toronto parent of 3

“You need to be signed on right at 7am with your wishlist already tagged to try to get a spot.”

“I would love if all summer camps in our area were listed in one app so I can browse through them and know I have looked at all possibilities.”

See all your options — then decide.

Filter by age, week, neighbourhood, and activity type. No more opening fifteen browser tabs that all look the same. Summer Solve pulls together camps from across Toronto — city programs, specialty camps, arts and athletics — so you can compare everything in one place: cost, location, and timing.

Share your plan, compare with friends, get everyone on the same weeks.

Some parents already have a spreadsheet. Others rely on the organized friend who does. Summer Solve works for both. Share your summer plan with other families — even while it’s still in progress — and see theirs in return. Comparing notes takes seconds instead of days of back-and-forth. Summer Solve isn’t another social network — just share a link to your plan in whatever chat you’re already in, before the good spots disappear.

Registered? Paid? Waitlisted? See it all at a glance.

Summer camp season means multiple registration windows, payment deadlines, and a nagging sense that you’ve forgotten something. Summer Solve keeps it all in one place: every camp you’re considering, its current status — registered, paid, waitlisted — and a direct link to the sign-up page when you’re ready. No more hunting through email to remember where things stand.

Built by a parent who thought: we all need this.

A lot of summer camp websites and apps are funded by the camps, the advertisers, or both. That means what you see is shaped by who paid to be there. Summer Solve does things differently: the camp listings were built and are maintained independently — so nothing’s missing, and nothing’s there because someone paid for it.

Honest results icon

Summer Solve doesn’t take money from camps, advertisers, or anyone else. No ads, no sponsored placements, no “featured” results. Every camp in Summer Solve is there simply because it’s available nearby.

Data privacy icon

I’m a privacy-conscious parent myself. I store as little of your personal information as possible, keep what I do store secure, and never share it with anyone — camps, advertisers, or otherwise.

Pricing icon

2026 is a beta year. Summer Solve is free, with no strings attached. If it earns a place in your summer planning by the end of this season, I’ll introduce a modest fee in 2027. You’ll decide then if it’s worth it.
